Alternating lane closures in both directions continue this week for pavement resurfacing on Mamalahoa Highway between Hina Lani Street and Old Kona Village Road, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be in effect this week on Mamalahoa Highway — state Highway 11 — near mile marker 109, between Kiloa Road and Coffee Drive, for pavement resurfacing, according to the department.
Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be in effect this week on Kohala Mountain Road — state Highway 250 — between mile markers 2 and 7, in the vicinity of Waiaka Junction, for pavement resurfacing, according to the department.
Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be in effect for pavement resurfacing on Akoni Pule Highway between mile markers 7 and 15, in the vicinity of Mahukona, according to the department.
Crews will be working from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Friday. Crews will not work on Tuesday in observance of Election Day. Road work is weather permitting.
